My work is inspired by pieces of fiction that I have a personal attachment to, as well as strong emotional moments I've experienced over time. I often incorporate concepts of whimsy and magic, utilizing these non-realistic elements to create a sense of wonder in every art piece I create. I initially started with relatively small traditional pieces, before shifting into the field of larger digital art pieces, which I have always admired, primarily for the liveliness and passion that is showcased in the art itself.

Typically, I begin my creative process by brainstorming ideas and manifesting them into small thumbnails, which then paves the way for the idea to be rough drafted onto the larger substrate I will be working on. I typically prefer to study the subject first and consider how it would look if I were to draw it, before experimenting with aspects such as line weight or colour during the process of actually putting my work on the page. This experimenting also leads to general stylization and lighting being added, which are both elements I adore adding to my art pieces. I feel my art is complete when I have either put enough of what I have to say on the substrate, particularly when my inspiration comes in the form of my own emotions, or when the piece overall has enough detail.
